We promised we wouldn’t ask you for money for 7 years. Then October 7th happened.

Israeli farmers are at risk of losing their land, their livelihood, and their prime positioning as our last physical border of defense against our enemies. So here we are again, turning to you to save more than just the observance of Shmitah.

Your donation to keep Israeli farms financially secure helps secure our borders, keep our brave, Shmitah-observant farmers from bankruptcy, and ensure the Israeli economy remains afloat.

Here’s how

Israeli law states that if an Arab citizen wishes to buy land in Israel, they cannot be turned down.

Because so many farmers cannot keep up with the financial responsibilities of running their farms in the current crisis, they may be forced to sell their land to Arabic owners whose intentions for the land are, at best, unclear.

Ensuring the farms on Israel’s borders remain under Jewish ownership is paramount!

A devious strategy of Hamas is to cripple the Israeli economy.

Israeli farms were specifically targeted during the Oct. 7th attacks, with many invaluable Thai workers being strategically captured in order to deter that workforce from their valued position in the Israeli economy.

Additionally, many farmers are being barred from working their land by the IDF due to security risks.

Must our brothers in Israel endure even more pain through the financial devastation they are facing?

They kept Shmitah. But will they get to keep their farms?

These heroic farmers were willing to pass on millions worth of profit to observe the incredible mitzva of Shmita.

Imagine the challenge of being tested yet again, to feel the strain of your livelihood being ripped from your hands just as you’ve pulled your head above water!

Help us reward these Shmitah warriors with their basic right to their livelihoods!
